What do these two have in common? Nothing much except that they were two of the social causes on Celeste Buckingham's agenda in November. Celeste keeps a well-balanced calendar of activities that distributes her time and attention between her professional life and social activities.
On 26.11.2019 together with her Czech/Slovak manager Lumir Mati, Celeste Buckingham was a guest speaker at the University of Prague for International and Public Relations (Vysoká škola mezinárodních a veřejných vztahů Praha).
From the 16 year old Czech-Slovak superstars to an international Forbes 30 under 30, and from the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine to that of the Forbes, Celeste Buckingham has demonstrated an outstanding achievement.
The focus of the panel discussion and the Q&A session was on today's extreme emphasis on celebrity image and the distinction between an impression based on appearance presented by the media on the one hand, and the real image of the artist on the other. The latter composing of not only artists’ appearance but a complex package including behavior, communication, approach to media and the public, their relationship With society, opinion about social issues and their involvement in them.
Campaign Against Domestic Violence
It is widely known that Celeste Buckingham is also a social activist dedicated to education of children and to gender equality. This month she participated in an anti-domestic violence campaign. Amongst the activities in this connection was her appearance in a calendar which will be out for sale shortly. 100% of the proceeds from the sale will be earmarked for the fight against domestic violence.
